Savignano Mare

As you may deduce from the name, it belongs to the territori of the Municipality of Savignano and is the sandy strip to the right of the mouth of the Rubicone River, bifore the beach of Gatteo a Mare. It si probably one of the smallest in the world and for this, would be worthy of insertion in the “World Guiness Book of Records”.
In all events, it is a well-equipped beach with trees and other greenery behind it, with a camp site, appreciated by both Italian and foreign tourists, especially the Northerners. There are about 180 metres of fine, golden sand which has belonged to the Municipality of Savignano for several centuries, an “outlet to the sea” which the people from this town have always wished to keep.
